Meet Sara Ball, the heart of our administrative operations at First Presbyterian Church of Mount Clemens. A lifetime member of our church family, Sara's journey with us began with her baptism and confirmation right here at FPC Mount Clemens. In 2021, we were blessed to welcome her as our Office Administrator, a role she has embraced with dedication and warmth.
Sara is often the first point of contact for anyone reaching out to our church during office hours. Whether you're greeted by her friendly voice on the phone, welcomed through the door intercom, or see her smiling face in the office, Sara is here to assist you. She's also the person behind the swift responses to office emails, ensuring that all communications are handled with care and efficiency.
Her deep-rooted connection to our church community and her role as our Office Administrator make Sara an invaluable asset to FPC Mount Clemens. Her commitment to serving our congregation and visitors alike embodies the spirit of hospitality and community that we cherish.
Sara Ball serves as the Music Director at First Presbyterian Church of Mount Clemens, bringing a lifetime of dedication and passion for music ministry to the role. A lifelong member of the congregation, Sara has deep roots in the church's musical traditions and a heartfelt commitment to revitalizing and growing its music programs.
Sara holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from North Park University in Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a minor in Religious Studies from Alma College, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She has over two decades of experience as a vocalist, choir director, and handbell musician, having worked with esteemed groups such as the Cantata Academy Chorale, where she served as a soprano section leader for nine years.
At FPC Mount Clemens, Sara previously served as Choir Director and Handbell Director, successfully rebuilding the children's choir and introducing innovative musical programs during the pandemic. Her dedication to nurturing young talent and her belief in the power of youth choirs to inspire congregations remain central to her vision.
With a creative approach to music ministry and a deep understanding of the church’s traditions, Sara is dedicated to fostering a vibrant, inclusive music program that uplifts worship and engages the entire congregation. Her experience as a private music instructor and her passion for teaching people of all ages make her a valuable leader in the church's mission to celebrate God's glory through song.
