Chancel Choir (Adult - College Age and Older)
Rehearsals: Thursdays, 7:30 p.m.
The Chancel Choir sings in Church most Sundays September through mid-June. This SATB (soprano, alto, tenor and bass) choir focuses on preparing weekly anthems and responses to enhance the worship experience during church. In addition to their primary responsibility for Sunday-morning worship, the Chancel Choir sings for additional services and programs outside of Sunday morning, including major works.
Chancel Bells (High School Age and Above)
Thursday, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. (September – June)
(Plays in church about once a month and some special services) This group prepares anthems with our five octave set of Malmark Handbells and four octave set of Malmark Handchimes.
Rythm and Bells for Children (Second Grade through Fifth Grade)
Wednesday, 4:30 – 5:00 p.m. (Rehearsals take place September through May)
Children will learn basic rhythms and note reading through use of handchimes and English handbells and will play occasionally for worship and special occasions.
